ah i dont know what to write about... had a topic in mind this morning but forgot all about it by now haha. i shall go do other things and think about it brb. hhhmmm back from class blog. still no inspiration... ok i shall start a random topic and start arguing with myself on it.
the importance of wearing a school uniform (from SA2 eng exam)
is it necessary to wear a school uniform to school? first let us examine the reasons as to why school uniforms are used. a school uniform is used by a school to create a sense of uniformity amongst students (as its name suggests). this school uniform when worn outside of school is also used to identify one's level in society and sometimes can even be a clue to the person's level of intellect.
now that the uses of a uniform have been stated let me explain why school uniforms are a waste of time and totally useless. firstly a sense of uniformity amongst students. i feel this is not needed as students if they do really like their school and enjoy their environment would not need as such to express their love for their school.
now to my second point. students who do not like their school will feel rather embarrased to be seen by the public in their school uniform. this embarrasment is only heightened if one's school is not too good or has a bad reputation. if a student is badly behaved and wears his/her school unifrom improperly outside of the school, the public can qutie obviously notice this and will make their own deduction as to why this happens. this will bring down the school's reputation even further and will again contradict the use of wearing a school uniform.
lastly, students might sometimes find their school uniforms uncomfortable and this may cause them to not be able to concentrate on their classes on a hot day in a stuffy classroom. if a student happens to have only 2/3 pairs of school uniform, the student might have a hard time if he/she has all those pairs of school uniform in the washing. this is only an unnecessary waste of manpower to wash and dry the school uniform quickly.
in conclusion. school uniforms are utterly useless and are only a burden to students and the school.
